How a raid works

Three minutes in, one evac out

Every raid is short, loud and final. You keep only what you carry to the flare.

01 · Loot

Crates glow by rarity

Legendary caches send a beam into the sky. Every shot, door and explosion has a hearing radius the infected react to.

Melee 65 · pistol 560 · shotgun 760 · rail 950 hearing radius
02 · Rescue

Cut the hostages free

They follow you home: medics heal, mechanics repair barricades, scouts draw safe routes.

Seven zones, from the market district to Quarantine HQ
03 · Extract

Call the evac and hold

The whole street answers. Incoming routes appear on the map; build, close gates, throw a lure, hold the zone.

Quick evac after 45 s · convoy exit pays 25% more
Multiplayer

Bring a squad. Or bring a grudge.

The same three-minute raid, three ways to play it. Online modes are in development and roll out after launch.

Co-op raids

Extract together

Squad up with friends, split the loot, cover the evac and revive each other before the horde closes in.

PvPvE

Rival crews, one flare

Other players drop into the same zone. Fight them, avoid them or let the noise you make bring the infected down on them. Only one crew rides the flare out with the best loot.

Leaderboards & events

Every run counts

Daily, weekly and zone leaderboards, server events on a shared seed, and seasonal standings. Ranks are earned, never bought.

Try it · noise

Every sound has a radius

Pick a weapon and watch who hears it. Quiet weapons let you loot in peace; loud ones clear a street and bring the next one down on you.

What's in the box

A city, a shelter and ten people who can get you out

Ten survivors

Each with their own weapon, special, skill tree and traits: slingshot to rail rifle, decoy to mortar strike.

Twelve kinds of infected

Walkers, runners, brutes, spitters, armoured, bloaters, gutter crawlers, bellowers, sporebacks, dusk stalkers, the Hoarder and the Abomination. Each one has a tell.

Seven throwables

Frag, molotov, flashbang, cryo, cluster, a lure beacon that pulls the horde, and smoke that breaks line of sight.

A living street

Doors you can operate, barricades you can build, cover you can destroy, explosive barrels, alarms, flooded lanes, and a director that paces the pressure.

Weapon and gear loot

9 manufacturers, 5 elements, 6 rarities up to Mythic, 20 named uniques and 41 gear pieces with 13 bonus stats. Insure your supplies before a risky run.

The shelter

Dig floor by floor and build 11 room types. Staff them with the people you rescued, keep power, food and water up, and send expeditions.

Seven zones

Market district, Pinewood suburbs, Flooded harbor, Memorial hospital, Rail yard, Metro tunnels and Quarantine HQ.

Solo and online

Solo raids work on a plane. Go online for co-op, PvPvE, cloud backup, leaderboards, server events and a code to carry on from another phone.

Made for a phone

One-thumb controls, left-handed layout, larger controls and text, a 30 fps lock, battery saver and controller support.

The roster

Twenty-seven characters, drawn by hand in pixels

Ten survivors, twelve infected and five civilians share one pixel grid, so every silhouette reads at a glance, even mid-horde on a small screen.

Fair play

Free to play, with the rules printed on the box

Deadzone Run is free, supported by ads and optional purchases. Here's exactly how energy, ads and crates work.

  • Energy (flares): raids cost a flare. You bank up to ten, one comes back every 15 minutes, and the daily run and the tutorial are always free.
  • Ads: the game shows ads. Optional rewarded ads can refill a flare or give a bonus reward, and you always choose when to watch one.
  • Ranks are earned: leaderboard positions can't be bought, and cheaters lose their scores.
  • Everything in a supply crate is also sold on its own. Duplicates turn into Credits, which you earn by playing.
  • Paid crates are not offered where the law does not allow them (Belgium). A free crate drops every day, everywhere.
  • Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. Restore purchases and a monthly spending reminder are built in.
